Two children are arranging letters on a sign board that reads 'THE FIREFLY CAFE COMING SOON.' The scene is set in a cozy space with wooden flooring.

Welcome to The Firefly

We’re Ty and Hannah — a husband-and-wife team who love good food, good coffee, and the kind of community that grows around a shared table.

Ty has been in restaurants for years. He started out baking with his brother and somehow became the dough guy — the one who can look at a loaf or a biscuit and know exactly what it needs. I’m the sourdough maker in the house, tending my starter like a member of the family and baking bread the slow, old-fashioned way.

We’re a family-first kind of family. We cook from scratch at home, live simply, and believe food tastes better when it’s made with care. Firefly Café grew out of that belief — a place where our mountain community can gather, eat something real, sip something warm, and feel at home.

We opened our doors to feed the people around us and to offer a place to be: to sit, to slow down, to meet a friend, to treat your kids, to feel connected.

Firefly is our labor of love, built by hand and held together by this town we’re proud to call home. We’re grateful you’re here — truly.
