Firefly is a family-owned café and bakery on the square in Hayesville, created by Ty and Hannah.

What began with baking naturally leavened bread for our community grew into a place centered around thoughtfully made food, good coffee, and genuine hospitality. Much of what we serve is made right here, from our breads and pastries to our lunches, coffee syrups, and sodas.

More than anything, we wanted to create something meaningful: a place where children are welcome, neighbors run into one another, and no one minds if you stay awhile.

Firefly has been built slowly, by hand, and with tremendous support from the people around us. We’re proud to be here, feeding the town we call home.
